I appreciate the excellent efforts being made by Sarbajit to present
before us an unique piece of work done centuries agoi, but never more
relevant as before . I would preserve the translated parts - and more
that might follow - carefully .
However, I fully endorse the views expressed by several members for a
greater and stricter check on the contents being posted on this group,
often deviating from the prescribed posting rules . This seems to be
fast developing into a free-for-all fish market . In particular, I
myself did not aprpeciate slanderous attacks on a particular personality
in recent days. Personal whims and fancies of a few cannot be allowed to
be part of the content of this Forum, and if it still ecists , it
needs to be deleted from record rightaway . In fact, if I were in place
of such esteemed people on whom these personal attacks and insinuations
on their character have been made, I would have taken the authors to
task .

Currently I am re-translating (modernising) the English translation of
the Katha Upanishad which was first translated in English about 200
years back by Rammohun Roy.
