Re: [rti_india] Fwd: [Indiarti] CIC to approach SC as ICs refuse to work

Manoj,

In the first place, if you would have made an effort to read each and every CIC order, just like I do, there would be no need for you to ever visit rtiindia.org and get into this useless argument ! You should have pointed out that order to the group or Mr. Raminder, yourself.

Read all about RTI every day - on the web, in news papers, etc....and you don't need to visit anything.

If you do not want to visit any external links - please do not do so. No body is forcing you. Hope you heard about something called the "delete" button.

I don't need to advertise rtiindia.org or anything else. I just moderate there......without cribbing about registrations anywhere ! Even if I were advertising, let the Moderator here do his job and decide whether external links are allowed or not. Complain to him and do not get into useless and time/energy expending arguments.

Lets get back to discussing RTI issues and not any web portal. No need to get paranoid about Registrations and bore this group to death.

RTIwanted

PS: I will not respond to any non RTI related issue in reply to my above post. Stick to RTI like Fevicol. (Oooops now hope you don't start again about advertising !)

The link you give, points to your own post on the rti india dot org website. Nobody can download the attached decision, without registration. A click on the attached file would result with a pop up page saying "You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. ". Same applies to the link to the

As for the  "direct html link to the order on the CIC website.", why did you not post the link in this Yahoo! group at the first place, instead of opting for a "surrogate" way to publicize the rti india dot org website?

Manoj,

Why do double the work ?

In case you did not notice, the link I gave was to a post which not only had the order copy attached but also had a direct html link to the order on the CIC website.

Your choice...... .whether to register and download the order from that post OR
just click on the html link and go directly to the order on the CIC website.

(No need to register to click on direct html links)

Choice is yours...Heads you win and Tails also you win.

RTI Wanted, why cant you make it a point to give information directly, instead of pointing the link to a third party site like rtiindia.org. This site, insists that you register on their website first, to download any information be it CIC or High Court / SC Judgement or even Govt. Orders on RTI. This kind of information should be on public domain and one should not insist on compulsary registration for downloading information of public interest.

Best wishes
