YES. There is no bar under the Act that you can not take any assistance during hearing either in First Appeal or Second Appeal. However, it is always advisable that in the Appeal itself you may mention that during the proceedings I will be assisted by my Friend. (He may be any one either Friend or Activist or you may take the help of a Lawer but in plain clothes as a Friend NOT as an Advocate)
