Dear Raja
Why don't you ask Shailesh Gandhi yourself since you
are a NCPRI life member, that too from Maharashtra ?
FYI, it is a matter of public record that as per the
audited accounts (filed in every major stock exchange
of India), Clear Plastics Ltd had a loss of Rs 5.703
crores in FY 2003-4 which is the last year Shaileshbhai
was running it. This curiously is almost exactly the same
amount which he has shown as his present day assets.
In any case I am not here to write about Shaileshbhai's
past / personal life. My post was specific to the
statements of Sh. Bhaskar Prabhu concerning Shaileshbhai's
unique style of conducting business at CIC, and which he
held up as an example for other Information Commissioners
to emulate. If Shaileshbhai is using his private funds
for official business, then the public has a right to
know the possible sources of those funds.
