I totally agree with the Ld Information Commissioner.
Too many petty issues are reaching the CIC/SIC in
appeal, and thereby genuine applicants are not using
RTI due to the long pendency at Commissions.
I would go a step further by saying that it seems to
be a deliberate strategy by RTI NGOs to encourage
filing of bakwaas RTIs and the subsequent Appeals
which they generate. This strategy is designed (and
foreign financed) to ensure that genuine citizens
are not allowed to use the RTI Act thereby.
The Ld IC deserves to be commended for saying
the truth
