Dear Mr.Roy,
Thank you for your solidarity with our struggle to set aright the malfunctioning and misgoverned Orissa Information Commission. Self and Mr.Pradip Pradhan as Defendants have each received a copy of the petition filed by the plaintiff State Chief Information Commissioner Orissa represented by the Commissioner-cum-Secretary in the court of civil judge (sr dvn), Bhubaneswar (c.s. no 1723/ 2010-M) dt 5.10.2010 along with a joint petition I.A.No. 764 / 2010 (arising out of C.S.No. 1723/ 2010- M) in the matter of Petition U/O 39 R. 1 & 2 r/w Sec 151 CPC. The 3-para prayer of the petition seeks 'a decree of damage for Rs.99,900/- against the defendants', 'a decree of permanent injunction restraining the defendants from using, publishing or circulating any defamatory comments' and 'a decree of the suit and such other reliefs which the plaintiff is entitled to get'.
We have however not received any notice from the Court as yet. As a matter of fact, we forsee a golden opportunity to put across our long held views on the malfunctioning Commission, should this case be admitted and taken up by the Court. I shall let you know its further developments in days to come. Thank you again for your show of solidarity.
With regards
Chitta Behera

I am very happy to learn that the messages from our group members have caught the attention of the OSIC.It is not clear if the postings to this group are being cited (like in Mr Umapathi's case).
I request the learned members to keep us fully apprised of the proceedings, so that we may render all assistance / guidance in your struggles against injustice and oppression.
