Every sick person is soon going to be a Federal revenue generation opportunity. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has proposed a service tax on us every time we fall sick, get hospitalised, get operated upon in an airconditioned hospital with more than 25 beds, get exploratory medical diagnostic tests, etc. etc. There are only two ways of not paying this tax. Raise our voice against it and ensure the great minds in the ministry who thought up this SICK TAX withdraw it pronto or hunt for a hospital with less than 25 beds and an operating theatre without air conditioning!
