You have given the heading to this thread "Anna" lies again but not given any example of his lying. One tries to convert black money to white and not white money to black. If DoPT is not giving the answers. I give with my little knowledge, Anna has supporters all over the country. You sit on fast un-to death and see how much support you are able to garner. If you garner even 1/10 of the Anna, we will rethink on the issue. Please compare your achievements with that of Anna ji, you will get the answer. For yr infn., the members of civil society were inducted after the Law Ministry headed by Mr. Moile cleared that this can be done under the law. Lokpal Bill would not be a panacea for all evils but that is not final, the next items on the agenda are electoral reforms and right to recall. I quote Shri Ram Manohar Lohiya ji, "Jinda Kome paanch saal tak intazaar nahin karati". A prominent Minister has said that he won with five lakh votes, it is quite true, but if he can dare to fight again from any Constitutency, can he claim that he will be able to repeat that performance this time. It may also be possible that it may be difficult for him to win. If Anna was awarded Rs. 1.1 crore, that is his money and he is free to utilize the way he likes as the money was bestowed in recognisation of his services. Can you dare the cricketers or other winner to give details of utilization of awarded money, only only thing is to pay tax on that, is due. BTW, has somebody recognized your services too and given even one lakh in lieu of that? I do not know how Anna used that money and have no right to ask that. I can only suppose that may have been utilized for his personal expenses or for some social cause as the assets declared by him shows only some thousands in his bank account, if I remember correctly. By the way, are you going to tell about your earning vis-a-vis details of your expenses to the members of this group. Sarabjit ji, please introspect yourself and give answers to this before being part of the smear campaign. All of us have some duty toward the motherland. Straight answers not complex with technical jagron or legal complexities are required. --- On Tue, 19/4/11, sarbajit roy <sroy.mb@gmail.com> wrote:
