Re: Re: [HumJanenge] Re: Anna has not lied. Pl do not spread this wrong info. Grateful to u if u appreciate this.

Dear Mr Jam,

What a good post you have sent below. While I have interacted with Sarbajit in only one case, I seem to have formed the correct opinion, which you have now substantiated. His emails every day, prove his character which is uncorruptible. And when he takes the liberty of commenting on someboday else's integrity and patriotism, he should in all probability be right. And this is putting it "conservatively".

Thanks for detached views.

My posts on these groups are restricted strictly to RTI - so breaking a self imposed rule here.....posting about something not directly related to RTI and commenting on a post regarding individuals.

Sometimes, when I see reactions to Sarabjit's often provocative posts, I only wonder as to how many of you have actually interacted with him over a considerable period of time ? How many of you have actually met him in person ?

I am one of those who have benefited from Sarbajits guidance, assistance and discussions - mostly related to RTI. We have agreed and disagreed, sometimes generating more heat than light, but the arguments have nevertheless been enlightening. Each individual has his own views but if you have the capability to sift the wheat from the chaff, I can assure everyone that you will be the ultimate beneficiary from his knowledge and arguments. It is upto you !

I only wonder, what happened to the Sarbajit in these pictures from 2006 (or are they from 2007 ?), which includes many known faces whom he constantly harangues in his posts these days. Let sleeping dogs lie.

And it is a fact that he does not make a single paisa out of his RTI related activities.
On the contrary, I have been the beneficiary of a few cold coffees and ice cream
treats in the Nirulas near that petrol bunk at the corner of AKB.
(By the way where has that parathawalla disappeared these days ?)

Sarbajit, the Government will never decide that you are an "eminent" person (Sec 12(5)) because as you yourself once said - "to be "eminent" one needs to be either absolutely corrupt or at least pliable".
So don't have any hopes !
Unless of course, you change your mind and support Anna Hazare for PM (LOL)

Dear Irfan-bhai

Let me solemnly declare as follows:-

1) I have not received any money (in any form) from any foreigner /
foreign body ever !!!!

2) I have not received any money from any Govt. body / agency etc -
EXCEPT FOR Rs. 100 token amount which I won in National Science Talent
Search competition when I was in 9th or 10th standard. This 100 rupees
was given to me as a token amount (instead of a huge amount I was
meant to receive) for reasons which are entirely in the public domain.

3) I do not take even a singe paise from anyone for social work.
People out of the goodness of their hearts have occasionally offered
me a) their blessings and good wishes b) parathas at the street vendor
outside CIC c) Coffee and burgers at Nirulas opposite CIC, etc d) a
CPIO I was assisting (wrongly accused by a high-handed IC) once
insisted on paying for a packet of chips (Lays Rs.20) and a Coke (Rs
21) for my son who had to wait in my car. I cant recall any other such
incidents, members who I have assisted from time to time may assist me
by posting.

I am a hard-working person, I do not run NGOs or associate with NGOs,
I do not accept awards and prizes. I file my tax returns regularly and
believe in nation building and exposing corrupt anti-national people.

I can also assure you that if the Givt ever decided I was an eminent
person, I would promptly declare the true value of my assets, and not
hide behind legal fig leafs like Mr Shailesh Gandhi resorts to.
