PIOs are departmental persons and they are always trying hard to protect their officers in not giving the information. All the PIOs should be independent officers and they should have independent office. Similar should be the case with elections officers and its staff. Election staff is also a deputed staff and it is influenced by the government. No deputation should be permitted for an independent wing.
