Govt. is out to malingn the movement and the activists who have taken up cause of fight against corruption. PM recently said that this is to hinder the progress of the country. Rashid Alvi, MP and some other in govt. Cong. see the hand of America behind this movement. Fortunately,the govt. stock is too low to believe its tantrum by and large.

This not only nails Manish but every one who have been belitlling and opposing Anna,his team and their movement ! Sibal, Digvijaya, Jayanti, Pranab, Ambika, Abhishek and scores of others appearing invarious channels defending what the ruling party wantonly commits! The vehemence with which they wrongly assert giving an impression that they are the only elected representatives and all others in the opposition and the people at large are strays requiring no hearing! In this sense the PM who keeps company with these wrong doers (A man is known by the company he keeps) without seeng the welfare of people should never be vorted to power no matter whatever party they would cling to! Their attitude and utterances speaks volumes that they have been supporters of corrupt practices to the core and they do not even want experiment for change for a better tommorrow! They appear to be representatives of rich, afluent, celebrities, unrighteous business tycoons, mafias, land grabbers, underworld and so on and their concerted attempts to defend wrong doers, delay actions in the name of democracy interpretted to what suits them for the occasions! They appear to forget that India has 1/3rd of the poor of the world!

New Delhi/ Lucknow: An RTI response has called Congress spokesman Manish Tiwari's bluff against Gandhian and anti-graft crusader Anna Hazare. The RTI replies from Dakshin ASC Records (South)datedAugust3 putthe record straight that Anna "never deserted" the Indian Army, and that he was "honourably" dischargedfrom the armed forces on completion of 12 years of his service.
The response following a Delhi-based RTI activist Subhash Chandra Agrawal's plea came a week after Tiwari had made several serious allegations of corruption against Anna. It states that five medals were notified to Anna — Sainya Seva Medal, Nine Years Long Service Medal, Sangram Medal, 25th Independent Anniversary Medal and Paschimi Star — during his tenure with the army. The response says Anna had enrolled with the army on April 14, 1963. He completed his training at Aurangabad. He had joined as a recruit.
