This was disclosed by Minister of State for Department of Personnel V Narayanasamy in New Delhi yesterday. The Centre had received a letter from Madhya Pradesh government requesting for a CBI probe into the murder of Masood. Our correspondent reports that she was shot dead outside her residence in Bhopal on August 16. The district police are still clueless about the identity of killers and motive behind the killing. The state government had announced a reward of one lakh rupees for clues leading to the attackers. Police had questioned a ruling BJP MLA and senior police official in this case. It had learnt that Shehla Masood had a telephonic conversation with BJP MP Tarun Vijay just a few hours before her murder. Sariq Noor, AIR News, Bhopal.
