Re: [HumJanenge] Uncovering of Truth - IE Story of Suggesting an Attempted Army Coup Needs Investigation

Dear Mahesh

The "owners" of this mailing list will not allow the list to be used
for disinformation or to further vested interests. Vested interests
are attempting to polarise (ie. weaken) the Armed Forces. Who these
vested interests are not as apparent as you seem to think.

As we speak some "eminent" busybodies have filed a PIL in the SC
challenging the appointment of the next CoAS. They are the usual gang
of foreign financed "transparency" h*****s whose own credentials are
dubious.

BTW, the Indian Express has stood by its story and is prepared to
defend it. The story itself is not very sensationalist, it is the
hysterical charge of the knicker brigade which is.

So while we would absolutely and GENERALLY support the cause of
strengthening the Armed Forces and lessening the role / interference
of MoD, on specifics there may be considerable differences. As 'n'
number of members complain to me offlist, this is an RTI group.

As most of our members may not have read the actual stories Here are the links.

Take your own call on who is bashing the Army. If there is any
resolution to be passed on this issue, let it be an acknowledgment
that India's real enemy Is and shall always be China (whose premier
"coincidentally" was in Delhi when all these rumors started flying)...
