[HumJanenge] LIC HOUSING FINANCE - ITS STATUS AS PUBLIC AUTHORITY

LIC Housing Finance has replied to an RTI applicant that it is not covered under the RTI Act as it does not use public money. I want to know whether the claim of LIC HF is correct or against this decision, he should go in appeal before the FAA and the CIC.
