Re: [IAC#RG] Fwd: Arvind Kejriwal's Asahayog Aandolan

Arvind Kejriwal is a Congress Plant, funded liberally by his close relative and Minister Jindal involved in the Coal scam, and the agenda given to his is to break the Anna movement and split the Hindu votes so that Congress would be gaining in next elections.

If Arvind has specific charges against BJP he should bring the scam details and file a case for investigation rather than the failed allegations against Gadkari, the much hyped scams falling by wayside and even the CBI or CBDT could not find any wrong doings so much tom-tommed by Kejriwal.

Dear Navnith

Thanks for using the word "apparent" defence of Shiela Diokshit Govt.

Please read Arvind's email carefully, He has clearly named the BJP as not doing anything to control corruption. Has he named the CONGRESS PARTY anywhere in his email ???

Let us be very frank.. . Arvind, Kiran Bedi etc were PAID AGENTS OF THE CORRUPT FORCES who SCAMMED Thousands of Crores from CommonWealth Games - both Congress and BJP. These people are worse than even prostitutes and pimps who may sell themselves but not the nation.

Now all of a sudden Arvind has become a saint ? Spare us from such nonsense. Today these people are like dhobi ka kutta - na ghar ka no ghaat ka, begging for thrown scraps

Don't tell me about the old Degremont DJB scam - tell me about the NEW scam whereby Arvind and gang want to bring TATAS and L&T to distibute water in Delhi for their pet Shielaji. And dont give me any nonsense that these are CLEAN INDIAN INDUSTRIAL groups - such statements make me puke.

Dear Shri Sarbajit,

Your apparent defence of Sheila Dikshit Government gives credence to views expressed by some members that you are favourably inclined towards the corrupt Congress and your damaging Kejriwal is a part of this agenda.Arvind Kejriwal has the courage to come out openly with allegations of corruption based on the information he got through RTI.Delhi Government has not repudiated any one of the allegations nor have they filed any label against him.Kejriwal may be a fall guy for you, but what about the allegations he raised against Delhi Government. I would like to know your opinions on the following;
 1.     What about the allegation that The DJB produced artificial figures NRW (65.7 percent), and the Delhi Government used this figure to award multicrore projects to Degremont to reduce NRW.
2.    Another French firm called Veolia is responsible for water collection, treatment and distribution at Nagloi plant. DJB gives Veolia Rs 14.99 per kiloliter of water treated, while the DJB was paid Rs 3 per kiloliter for the same process
3.  The firm gets 90 million gallon per day (MGD) water to purify but interestingly it shows an output of 140 MGD "which is impossible.
4.  What about the alleged nexus between Sheila Dikshi's Government and the private distributors.

Without commenting on any of these points, you have gone on defending the Delhi Government saying that the problem is purely simple and technical indirectly hinting that there is no corruption involved.Has your bias against Kejriwal gone to the extent of defending a corrupt Government.Or is it a part of a larger plan?

I am amused.

Dear Vijoy

I don't condone theft or anyone who encourages theft.

The problem in Delhi's Electricity price rise has a very simple cause - there is no longer any NEW cheap (hydro or old NTPC) electricity to subsidise base consumers (less then 100 units per month) with. New electricity plants especially LMPPS UMPPS etc and the gas based ones are expensive to make, debts have to be serviced at high interst charges etc. and fuel is very expoensive and in short supply. Short term players (who play the stock markets) have been using Chinese parts which will cause their own set of problems in a few years.

Under the new electricity regime, Electricty Act 2003,. it is  highly regulated cost-plus regime. All the figures (for what they are) are made available to anyone who chooses to participate.in the process.

The answer is to a) Consume Less b) Pay on time (because defaults are expensive and involve penalty and interests) c) Keep participating and making sure the regulators do their job.

It is only when you actually particpate that you realise what a difficult job the reguolators (and many of them ARE corrupt no doubt) are doing with inadeqaute  resources against an armies of corporate lawyers and in-house regulatory agencies of DISCOMs.

I have done my bit in the electricity wars. For 5 years from 2005 til 2010 I (of course not single handedly) ensured that electricity rates in Delhi were hardly raised.beyond 5 o10 % per year. But it is a huge new ballgame now and it needs a team of citizens who are specialist watchdogs and understand the deep issues and interplays- which is unlikely.

I do not think you are ethically right in belittling the efforts of AK or doubting his degrees. Not that I am his fan o ra follower , though I use my own judgement to understand the gimmicks floating around these days in the name of AAP or IAC. and you seem to be rather too vocal without any contribution of yours to the cause of corruption free India.
If a wrong inflated electric bill comes to you, will you first pay and then protest or protest in the first place and you call it illegal. It surely is but in our country only coercive methods have some relevance. If there was a responsive system working in India no one would do illegal things..

Dear IAC members

Unfortunately and once again we have to refer to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal's new antics.

In this attached email. he calls upon all residents of Delhi to join him when he refuses to pay his electricity bills and he assures them that nothing will happen to them (elsewhere he has said because when AAP comes to power all those cases will be dropped) since the Govt is "gutless".

Dear Arvind:

My first query is :Where exactly in Delhi do you reside permanently that you have an electricity connection in your name ? (PS: I thought you resided in Ghaziabad U.P, or have you bought some posh LBZ  property with the crores of rupees you are to account for.from IAC days.?)

M\y second query is: What will happen to all those harassed poor people who believing in you got converted into bijli chors (like you), get permanently disconnected and shall never be reconnected to bijli till they pay regular bribes to AAP's parallel network for black market electricity supply ? <--- Arvind we know your game plan and you should be ashamed of yourself. Don't you have any self respect ?

My third query : Do you know that DERC has extended the period to make submissions on MYTR and True-Up (since 2008 -) till 31.March.?  If you are actually a qualified engineer, which I seriously doubt seeing that you don't even know the difference between incoming and outgoing feeders, please submit something meaningful instead of indulging in this foreign financed nautanki baazi,

Sarbajit

My fellow Indian,
Under Anna's leadership, India came on streets against corruption. The people demanded a strong anti-corruption law. The government did not agree. None of the parties agreed. Obviously, they couldn't have agreed because if they passed a strong Jan Lokpal Bill, most of the politicians would be in jail and their properties would be confiscated.
My friend, our entire political system has become rotten. Most of today's problems are due to corrupt politics. Unless it is cleansed, nothing would improve. That's why we had to enter politics – we tried to stay away, but we realized that approach would not work. We have now formed the Aam Aadmi Party.
Gandhiji said that politics devoid of honesty and spirituality is disastrous for the country. We have to change the politics of this country. I am confident that together, we can.
To watch the video please click here or continue reading……….
Though now under law, we are a political party, however, the struggle against corruption continues. I am sitting on an indefinite fast from 23rd March. Why? Because in collusion with electricity and water companies, Delhi Government has increased electricity and water prices to such levels, that it is becoming almost impossible for common people in Delhi to pay up their bills. Many people are taking loans to pay their bills. But that can't go on for long. Documents available with us indicate that the prices should be at least half of what they are today. The prices have been increased only due to corruption to favour a few companies. If something is not done immediately, the government plans to further increase these rates in the coming months.
BJP is in opposition in Delhi. It either remains quiet or makes pretence of opposition. The only hope is the people of Delhi. But people are scared. When we asked people to stop paying their illegitimate bills, they were scared that their electricity might be disconnected or court cases might be filed against them.
In order to take the fear out of the minds and hearts of the people and to unite them, I am sitting on an indefinite fast from 23rd March. This time, we are not demanding anything from the government. My appeal is directly to the people of Delhi – "I will stop paying my electricity and water bills, will u also do that? Let's all unite. Don't be scared. If most of the people in Delhi stop paying their electricity and water bills, no government will have the guts to disconnect anyone's electricity. Even if the government does that, connect it again yourself.
I have given up food from March 23rd; will you give up your fears and stop paying your bills?"
Are we encouraging anarchy? No. If the government enacts a completely unjust law or is guided by corruption, then according to Gandhiji, it is the duty of every citizen to violate that unjust law and invite punishment. Else, we would be supporting injustice and corruption. Today, there is anarchy in every household in Delhi due to government's corruption. If people stop paying bills, there might be anarchy in the houses of some politicians, but people will live in peace.
Through this letter, I seek your participation, in whatever way you can.
If you live in Delhi and want to join the movement by stopping to pay your bills please click here to sign the petition.
If you wish to volunteer your time for this campaign, please click here to contact Aandolan Kendra in your ward.
If you live outside Delhi, please call your family and friends in Delhi asking them to support the campaign or you may even come and assist us in Delhi.
If you wish to remain in touch please click here to give us your contact details.
Do not hesitate to write to us at contact@aamaadmiparty.org, if you have any questions or suggestions.
Kindly forward this mail as widely as possible. Every effort helps, in the fight against corruption.

Jai Hind.

Warm regards,
Arvind Kejriwal
