Dear IAC Subscribers
The IAC non-political movement is outraged at the induction of Ms.
Kiran Bedi into the Bhartiya Janata Party apparently to portray in the
media that there will be a battle between IAC versus IAC in New Delhi
or that Ms. Bedi is BJP's trump card to cut Arvind Kejriwal etc.
IAC informs its subscribers that we do not know Ms. Kiran Bedi, who to
the best of our personal knowledge was never in the "India Against
Corruption", leave alone being any kind of IAC core committee member.
We recall that at Anna's so-called fast near Jantar Mantar in April
2011 Ms.Kiran Bedi prominently publicised her own NGO "JNSS" or
suchlike to promote it by association with Anna Hazare.
IAC's brief initial association with PCRF [now a part of Aam Aadmi
Party] to conduct the IAC's 2010 Common Wealth Games public expose
campaign does not extend to Ms. Kiran Bedi or to Mr. Kejriwal's Lokpal
related activity. The aforesaid arrangement with PCRF was terminated
on 6 February 2011 after the 30 Jan 2011 breach of trust incidents. It
is trite to say that the original promoters of PCRF, now Aam Aadmi
Party, are known to IAC's top leadership since so many years,. and all
the PCRF assets of the Anna 'anshan' period and Ram Lila maidan days
are now amalgamated in Aam Aadmi Party accounts.
After Arvind Kejriwal and his team irrevocably announced their
disassociation from India Against Corruption's platform on 2 August
2012, wef 02 Oct 2012, it was expected that all Mr. Kejriwal's
personal "Team Anna" junior volunteers working under him and IAC's
banner - like Ms. Kiran Bedi and Mr. Anna Hazare would also leave with
him. When they did not and instead organised media meets to defame the
IAC movement , they were called to task and caused to leave by the
movement's leadership and asked to render accounts. Accordingly, Ms.
Kiran Bedi announced her disassociation on 24 Dec 2012 and Anna Hazare
shortly afterwards on 13 Jan 2013.
It has very recently come to our notice that on 30 January 2013, Ms
Kiran Bedi has released a book titled "Indians Against Corruption" at
Anna Hazare's Jan Tantra Morcha meeting in Patna. Her book is
deceptively titled to pass off her activities as IAC's.
IAC will be rejoinding the false reporting in the media on a formal
basis seeking corrections.
IAC does not support or endorse any candidate for political office.
Misusers of IAC's well known name and logos are liable to be
prosecuted or reported.
