AAP has stopped all demolitions in Delhi. It is good to be considerate.Such a rule of governance works only in an environment of SELF DISCIPLINE, which unfortunately is missing in Delhi.Everybody is so SELFISH.How would we stop ENCROACHMENTS?.Or else we should expect CHAOS as non payment of electricity bills would cause.May be this is their PHILOSOPHY, at least of some of the founding members of AAP.God help DELHITES.On Fri, Mar 6, 2015 at 5:12 PM, Syed <syed.infocom@gmail.com> wrote:#UNITE AAP. Subject: Re: [IAC#RG] Shanti Bhushan attacks Kejriwal again, accuses him ofaccepting 'tainted money'I also wish AAP well and will be happy if it can honour its 70 commitments given to the people.Being a realistic, I wonder where the huge amount of funds needed to implement the proposals will come from. Most of the Delhities have made the UT home after coming from various states and most of them are not aware that their everyday requirements come from other states including PAANI -BIJLI.I am told that for reducing electricity bills and free water Delhi Administration need about 1600 crore in a financial year. But this amount will not decrease next year onward since input cost for generating electricity and treatment of raw water is expected to go up every year.Delhi govt will have to implement 7th Pay Commission Recommendation. It is expected next year. This was announced by the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley while presenting the General Budget in LS on February 28.Since Delhi govt employees in the UT are given central govt"s pay scales, the 7th Pay Recommendation will be implemented .Besides AAP has promised to set up new colleges, schools, hospitals. The central govt has its own limitation and is committed to bridge the budgetary deficit in phases .Govts all over the world including erstwhile Communist regimes of the Soviet Union ,other socialist countries and even China are reducing SUBSIDIES to its citizens. If AAP govt goes on giving subsidies, all development projects will come to a standstill and new ones cannot be taken up due to shortage of funds.Even market borrowing will not be possible as bankers and investors cannot be convinced about the return of their principals from a govt which is broke. And that is why some people WHO say AAP HAS SOLD A DREAM TO THE GULLIBLE SEEM TO BE CORRECT.With Good wishes to the CM & and his teamOn 2 March 2015 at 21:47, Kumar Arun <kumar2786@hotmail.com> wrote:Although one hundred percent of honesty in saying & doing, has been or will be either principle for a politician nor it is expected. Dear Friends,
As an optimist,I congratulate Indian Citizens for the victory of democracy. This has made the 2014 mandate of BJP and our PM cautious. To Humble them and make them mend their ways, to be more reliable to keep up the promises which AAP too has given. In both cases there are impracticable difficult to meet dead lines. In Khejriwaljis's case,he has promised the lowest rung of society who have nothing to loose. If he fails to meet deadline, they will be out in the open to ask for an answer. In any case he will achieve some success in some areas.Let us hope for the best.Let us pray for good days ahead.Col R G Nair (Retd)

Dear Mr. Kumar,
I am not being pessimistic but being realistic knowing the financial constraints and the outlays needed to achieve those targets.
I have been watching the progress of AAP since its inception hoping it to be a step closer to participatory democratic set up and have high expectations. There is no denying that Delhi needs more schools, colleges, hospitals Public toilets and bijli paani for the
rapidly increasing population. I am only curious about the source of funds which you can raise either through taxation or c ental assistance. Delhi is not an exception suffering from these shortages. All metropolitan cities suffer from these shortages. Mumbai has much bigger population living in slums worse than the life in unautorised colonies of Delhi. But the people pay more for electricity and other civic services Kolkatta is equally in dire need of resources.
I consider Delhi elections as a watershed event and its success or failure will have far reaching consequences. It is for this reason I hope that AAP should have deliverable targets. For this reason I am looking forward to budgets the State and the Centre.

Dear Shri J K Gaur, Your sense of time is baffling as you are distributing our targets statistically. Believe in a positive future of Delhi residents with needed schools, hospitals, toilets, CCTV and Pani-Bijli. Do not get so pessimistic. AAP is a party of concerned and intelligent citizens. They are not professional politicians engaged in Jumlebaji. Regards, Anand Kumar

Re: [IAC#RG] Shanti Bhushan attacks Kejriwal again, accuses him ofaccepting 'tainted money'
Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav should go. In the name of AAP, they are trying to ride on the credentials of Arvind Kejriwal to fulfill their personal political ambitions. If they were true to the AAP ideals, they would have gone among the weak and deprived and worked towards the betterment of their lives. Instead, they have unleashed divisive forces and hurt the cause of the people by creating conditions where the focus of the party is divided to these mundane, inter-personal issues. In the process they are doing a great disservice to the nation by strengthening the corrupt and the communal, and all those values, which the AAP had set out to defeat. They should first work towards finding solutions to the problems of the man on the street, instead of looking for political posts. Personal ambition is fine, but it can't be fulfilled at the cost of the very ideals they had set out to promote.
