Dear Mr. Venktaraman/S. Roy
Now that S. Roy has clarified that agitational approach is not possible for IAC,we should explore alternative but democratic approach against proposed increase for the M.Ps.
We may not be able to prevent, but definitely should highlight the highhandedness through the print/Social media in seeking the increase in the salary and perks.
We should also put across to the P.M that this increase is not justified.
The seven reasons given by you in your earlier post for no increase are all valid and should be highlighted.
This discussion started with a post comparing the salary and perks of a soldier and an M.P. While the two are not comparable, the fact remains that such a hefty increase is not justified on any ground whatsoever. But if the veterans use this proposed increase in support of their claim for OROP, it is for them to decide.
Public mood at present is totally again st this increase. Let the M.Ps first show that they are serious in discharging their duties honestly and sincerely before seeking any increase.

Dear Shri Gaur
At this point of time there is no democratic way to prevent elected
reps (from BJP or AAP) from enriching themselves. It is "spoils of
war".
We are closely observing both BJP and AAP and the massive corruption
in their governments. We shall comment on both of them now that their
"honeymoon" periods are expired, and also Congress etc..
The reason Brooks-Bhagat report should be officially released (Neville
Maxwell's version is already circulating) is so that public can see
dangers of having 'chamchas' / courtiers like Mullick, Kao, Doval etc
interfering in areas they are not experts in and demeaning the armed
forces etc..PS:I am sure that you would have appreciated the report
which Maxwell circulated last year, so GoI should either declassify it
or denounce Maxwell's version as a brilliant Chinese forgery.
Re Netaji :Is it not curious that RSS has recently encouraged so many
of their volunteers to learn Japanese - to be the vanguards of "Make
in India". They even call their program "Sangh seekhe Japani", and the
audio clips of it circulating are hilarious.
