Respected Sir
On behalf of the members of the "Humjanenge" RTI mailing lists, having
13,968 subscribers, of which I am a Moderator, I am constrained to
report / suggest as follows, in the larger public interest.
It is regularly observed from cause lists published of the Commission that
whereas about 10 minutes is alloted to disposal of matters conducted in
the "Court room" of the Commission, the matters through Videoconferencing
are invariably allotted 30 minutes. This is causing a considerable drop
in the disposal rate and causing hardship and delay to appellants before
your Commission.
Kindly therefore immediately stop the use of videoconferencing except for
EXCEPTIONAL cases as this discriminates against persons who attend
in person versus those who avail VC
We cannot help but reiterate that the disposal rate of the Commission is
now so poor that you are unable to even publish its details as you used to.
with best wishes
Sarbajit Roy
