Re: [rti_india] India's next CIC = A.N. Tiwari !!!!

Manoj,

You forgot that ANT is a true blue blooded babu to the hilt.
So, we will have a true blue blooded babu response to pending issues.........

"Let us form a Committee"

The only silver lining I can see is that selection of ANT (being ex DoPT), may result in better coordination between DoPT and CIC. But you know very well, once a babu retires, he is generally treated as dirt by even his own peon.

Anyhow, if he tries for another job in 2011, it will make a good ending to his CV : Was CIC for 3 months.

At least now we know the sequence of future CICs with reasonable confidence.

Re: [rti_india] Bring Back sarabjit as moderator

You all Freinds Must of seen My response to the Moderator's Unwarranted look when I sent a mail only to invite further Discussions . Whatever may be issue , the moderator Escalated it to naming A state and Related it to an CCIC Aspirant because  he is From Our state Cadre . In Fact The moderator Does not Known (or shall i say i Have Interacted) with Person /aspirant when he Was the commissioner of BMP . Having Said all these I also have My Reservations such Knee jerk reactions by The Moderator and wish ERSR Makes A come back

yes sir, it doesn't augur well for our group if new moderator functions like this. Let us be united and discus the things on RTI matter keeping aside the ego clashes aside. The Moderator should lead the group by exhibiting leadership qualities.I Hope  new moderator would understand the implication on our Group and impact on the unity of the Group. Sarbajit sir may kindly express his opinions and think of assuming the position of  Moderator.

Bring Back sarabjit as moderator.

A moderator must be a moderate person.
This new moderator seems to be moving with sword and sickle in his hands  chopping off every one he meets.

let people express thier opinions . warn them but do not terminate them so quickly.

sarabjit . come back . we need your experienced moderation .

Re: [rti_india] Re: Bring Back sarabjit as moderator

This list could do with more than one moderator. However, could somebody tell me who the list owner is?

Not at present. But thanks for remembering me.

Let us give the new moderator some space. I'm sure
he knows what he is doing and everything will work
out for the best in the end.

RTI_India will also have to adjust to the new order
that is coming to the CIC with Mr Tiwari assuming
the C'IC-ship, and we shouldn't prejudge anyone. In
case Mr Tiwari has to be faulted for his performance
then there is nobody better situated than Mr Ashish
to do so.

Re: [rti_india] India's next CIC = A.N. Tiwari !!!!

And what if you put a full stop after a name?

LOL, you missed the point I made in the earlier post. You seem to have forgotten the Yupee meaning of the dot.

More on this, vis-a-vis.

Back to earth, in the next few weeks we should be hearing more about the IC Benches,  and other long pending issues.
