Dear All, What I observe is that the equality in matters of public employment : Article 16 is seriously violated for appointment to higher level posts done arbitrarily (and hence illegally) without issuing public notice, without inviting applications, without giving opportunity to the eligible & desirous persons and done in a total non-transparent, rather secretive, manner. The posts that I refer to are ICs at CIC & ICs at SICs; CIC at Centre & CICs at States and also HC Judges as also to Tribunal Members / Board of Directors of PSUs / Directors & Board of Governors for IIMs & IITs etc. In this regard, my requests to PM, Opposition Leader and Cabinet Secretary to GOI since April 2010 have remained unattended - http://bit.ly/goV25J President of India - Kindly arrange to sack arbitrarily selected & appointed Board of Governors of IIMs - http://bit.ly/duti0G Further, during National Convention on Judicial Reforms at Mumbai one-and-a-half month back, I personally handed over written representation to Union Law Minister Mr Veerappa Moily to ensure HC Judges are appointed in a centralised manner for the country in a non-arbitrary and democratic manner. I am still awaiting response. Article 16 continuing serious violation has essentially helped the influential section of the society to continue their hold in Administration and in Judiciary. I wonder whether HCs and SC would be inclined to take Suo Moto cognizance of this serious violation of Constitution and also Human Rights violation for corrective action?
