episode. Gen Singh has the courage to bring out the facts that today's
Army is not as ready to fight a war as it should be. You may wonder
why this has not been brought out earlier by his predesissors. They
have done so many a times. But there was no action taken on it for
years. Gen Singh has exposed the anti Army stance of the bureaucrats
and also the Government s inept attitudes. If Gen Singh had also kept
quite, like others, he would have also got good post retirement
appointments like Governors, Ambassadors etc. Gen Singh chose to
fight like a soldier for the future of the country and NOT for his own
post retirement plum postings / appointments. He has sacrificed all
these for whom ? Atleast now, you are aware of some small facts
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
