Re: [IAC#RG] PUBLIC GRIEVANCE: DMRC - 00001

Dear Kiran

1) IAC is pursuing this as a "corruption" issue, to the extent that
the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety has allowed DMRC's operations to
start without ensuring that potable drinking water is available for
passengers.

2) Insofar as Right to Water Campaign is concerned, if the following
statement attributed to you is correct, I would have considerable
difficulty in supporting your campaign (for reasons we could discuss
offlist)
http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/NewDelhi/Campaign-to-claim-water-as-fundamental-right-launched/Article1-876013.aspx

"As Delhi suffers through the worst water crisis, we urge you to help
the city in ensuring an equitable water supply. We demand that Delhi
government should ensure an uninterrupted water supply on the basis of
120 litres per capita consumption, as per WHO standards. We also
demand just and rational supply to the so called unauthorised colonies
in Delhi.""
