I can assure you that the moderators of this group do not "steer" any
discussion on this list, and our "interests" are openly declared (to
anybody who cares to read it).

Your points, especially for "Pavlovian dogs" is well taken, and one of
the purposes of this list is indeed to observe and assess the degree /
timing of barking by running dogs. It is well known that barking dogs
seldom bite and biting dogs seldom bark.
