Please read the Army Act and related Acts pertaining to service in the Armed Forces as well as pensions therein. Likewise with other Government service. In every case UNLESS special permission was taken (and exemption for Nepali nationals in Armed Forces) the complete issue of service and subsequent pre-supposes Indian nationality as a condition.
It will be interesting to find out:-
1) How many ex-servicvemen and ex-government servants continue to draw pensions and/or subsidised alcolhol/canteen benefits despite changing Nationality.
2) How many of the above reported this to the Indian Government and took the steps as required under the Laws of India.
