[IAC#RG] What gives us the right to criticize when we have not done enough ?

You are right. I am Dr. Amit Mukherjee of Jharkhand. Since you asked for my credentials, I am giving it.

I am shocked at your perception of others who may not share the same ideals as you do.

I would like to say that I am an Orthopedic Surgeon, who now works free of cost in a remote Hospital in Jharkhand for the villagers who cannot pay and the contract workers of the small scale industries..

I am a staunch Hindu and can say with authority that IofC has till date NOT converted even a single person to Christianity or whatever! I am associated with this idea for 40 years!

The central philosophy of this idea is that much needs to be changed in the World, but that change HAS to begin with myself. I cannot imagine such a logical idea being termed as a ploy to convert or otherwise, that also funded by..........?

I have been working most of my life in the villages of Jharkhand, especially for the ethnic realization of our tribals, apart from giving them hope to earn dignified livelihoods.

There is much more, but suffice to say that I would not involve myself in anything that I thought would compromise my country`s good.

Now, may I know, what drives you to make such undignified accusations, please???

It is all about perception, the perception of the general public is that Gandhi did well to get independence for India, it might be far from the truth but it stands.

The political leaders will most probably go with the mood of the public and keeping that in mind the PM (or any leader to a large extent) is just following that. Just to make sure that Gandhi memory is alive, his photo is printed on the Indian currency, it is a well thought of strategy.

If we need to fight it and get the facts right then I guess we need to get the public aware and sensitize them, if that effort is successful and people acknowledge it then everything will fall in its place. My two cents.
