There have been quite a few instances of shoe throwing at the politicians. Many Indians and th Arabs consider beating with a shoe is the greatest insult one can inflict on an adversary. In Iraq a shoe was hurled at George Bush by an Arab journist to avenge the humiliation and the journalist became a hero.
A shoe was hurled at a senior minister of UPA and GeneralSecretary of Congress. Prashat Bhusan was thrashed in his office for his controversial comments on J&K.
With the kind of security thrown arouand a VIP, shoe is the only misile that can be hurled at, to show anger and frustration. In case of AK, the absence of security cordon is adding to frquency of these attacks. Sooner or later he has to opt for it.

Regarding Azam Khan.s remarks, it shows a muslim leader can say anything, appeal for votes on communal lines and can get away with it and still considered a secular leader. Sonia Gandh can meet the Imam for favour in return for favours and still be secular. But a Hindu leader becomes communal without saying anything communal.

I fully endorse views of Manoj Joshi. I think it was Arnab's channel , it talked about congress , BJP and got only their leaders to talk. YES paid indeed. it is very intriguing that no news channel castigated Azam Khan for his muslim soldiers remark. I would like to know where these so called pundits like Pronoy Roy who manage to hire Rashtarpati Bhawan , are when it comes to anti nationals like Azam Khan. Where is this Sampath fellow who issues notices on flimsy ground to Ashutosh , keeps mum on Azam Khan.. Sampath in any case is an apology and stooge of politicians of any hue .I met a very senior journalist the other day who told me that the entire media specially news channels have been paid and are instructed to block the good news of AAP but to show all the negative aspects regarding AAP to tarnish their image. I strongly believe in this theory as exactly the same thing is seen on all the leading news channels barring none. The so called Fourth pillar of DEMOCRACY seems to be sold out few crores...... God save India.
