1. This is just not true - the classical liberals or libertarians as they are called in the USA do NOT want to interfere with education and would leave that to the private market space completely. That the blacks have been discriminated against in the US is stating the obvious - but their education choices TODAY dictated by lack of choice and limited income, not some grand conspiracy. And, despite all that, a black President sits in the White House.

2. Even 100 years ago, you would have been denouncing democracy and saying where is a TRUE democratic govt in the world? - since there was no universal suffrage - women could not vote, and previously only male land owners would be eligible to vote. Yet democracy as an idea existed even 2,000 years back.

So, not to worry, it will possibly not happen in our lifetimes, but maybe our children will be lucky to see a true classical liberal governance dispensation - the Keynesians are certainly helping to bring about the demise of the socialists and the current governance systems. As citizens realise how they have been cheated by their govt of their wealth through inflation and utter debasement of the paper currency, change will come.

And, there are proper sources and works to refer to if you want to know how a private army would work - using Hollywood as a basis is puerile - do refer to cafehayek.com and mises.org. And, all armies are mercenary in nature, by definition - the soldiers are taking pay, are they not?

Private security is already a well established business - replacing govt police forces where they are corrupt, inefficient or both. India, for example.

3. Please let me know what is your definition of socialism - if equality of OPPORTUNITY is the ONLY thing that socialists care about, then I am one for them, as that is exactly what classical liberalism stands for. However you are either misinformed or you are misrepresenting facts. Socialists stand for equality of OUTCOME - that is why all this noise and sensation about income inequality and wealth distribution gaps. They want all of us to be uniformly poor, since all can not be uniformly rich.

So, Reliance is ripping you off? Is there no independent electricity regulator in Delhi? Can you not petition for a second supplier to be added to your network?

In Mumbai, I have the reverse problem - BMC owned and operated, BEST, is ripping me off on electricity charges - they are 30-40% higher than getting electricity from Tata Power. However, they have got the govt to block the entry of Tata Power into the island city under the SPECIOUS excuse that if they can't rip off their electricity customers with higher charges, then they can not subsidise the bus service that they also run. They would have to raise bus fares then, which would not be a social good.

Meanwhile, if you live beyond Mahim, and are not a resident of the island city, while the electricity network is owned by Reliance, you can switch to Tata Power, which is 30-40% cheaper than Reliance, too. So Reliance has been losing customers in the suburbs of Mumbai on a daily basis, and only get paid a wheeling charge by Tata for using their network.

That is what privatisation of the electricity networks was supposed to be - ask your politicians and bureaucrats why they have not allowed this to happen in Delhi? Meanwhile, another lawsuit against BEST will shortly be heard in the Mumbai HC against its policy not to allow Reliance or Tata to supply customers in the island city.

And, where did I support lal battis - those are vestiges of socialism in India - this whole concept of mai-baap sarkar. Why extra police protection for the politicians? First, protect the citizens of this country.

Auction off ALL of Lutyens Delhi to whoever can and is willing pay the market price - no subsidised bungalows for politicians and bureaucrats, at tax payer's expense.  Abolish all their perks - health, telephone, travel, servants, etc

At the same time, pay them a PROPER all-in salary as direct payment - shouldn't the PM of India be paid at least Rs5.0cr per year? Maybe Rs10.0cr pa? Shouldn't cabinet ministers be paid Rs1.0-2.0cr per year? Shouldn't MPs be paid a reasonable sum to be lawmakers for the entire country?

Also, if we paid politicians a decent wage, wouldn't we also then expect to get better quality people to join politics? People who would choose to be in politics instead of finance?

Remove tenure for all senior level IAS bureaucrats - you can define the level - junior under secretary?.
Pay only for performance. Perform or perish. Why should the tax payers be paying for such a big, bloated, inefficient, corrupt, ruinous bureaucracy?

24 hour power at Rs. 4 per unit  from a monopoly PUBLIC electricity
supplier as privileged persons. How does your capitalist model explain
this ?  The socialist model says that Rs. 4 is the real cost of power
and the Private DISCOMS are ripping off their consumers by virtue of
their monopoly (the ultimate goal of capitalism is creation of
monopolies and elimination of "inefficient" competition).
