To Celebrate RTIWeek DoPT, GOI , Gave funds and instructions Administrative training institute mysore karnataka to Conduct a workshop on RTI .
Here is the mess Made by the ATI and thier substatiation also in the matter " It is Not Possible to Invite For ATI Everyone" , We would like to Known who were the "HAVEs" or the Blessed Ones and what was Creiteria.
Incidentally I was invited way back in 2006 Itself after the first cIC conference and Even given a grand certificate by ATI and Yasada Pune that i am an resource person and i would be invited for a number of trainings .
However It now seems that ATI Mysore is either BLIND or it is Defiently closed the Eyes for reasons best known to them

Administrative training institute or ATI is located at the foothills of the Godess Chamundi on Lalithamahal Road mysore. The Basic Objective of ATI is to Contribute to a Continiuing improvement in the administration of the state. so that it is able to fulfil the asperations of the people for development at an accelarated pace.
Recently the DoPT GOI requested ATI to Conduct a one day workshop on "proactive disclosure; the way Forward" and ATI decided to do it on 12th of october 2011 Coinciding with RTI week celebration.
according to Mr Vikramsimha m, the trustee of RTI study center and Member Karantaka rti fedration , the Workshop seems to be a mere formal affair . shockingly they have not invited the RTI activists who are actively involved in rTI and work to strengthen and crystalise the act. In fact only low profile ordinary members who are merely users of rti are invited to fill in the seats .
It was required that ATI had widely advertised the informationabout the workshop inviting all interested personnel but the invitations were sent directly by them to certain selected members ignoring the very ROOT activists, he said. In Fact Mr Vikramsimha has himself attended the Training of trainers program by ATI way back in 2006 and he is not invited to this workshop Such workshops will not do any good for the cause as the concerned members are not invited to participate he added.
Intersetingly the invitation of the ATI Carries a note that " The Government of India will hold the copy right for all the presentations made by the presenters in the workshop" Such Criteria in a workshop aimed at RTI transparency is totally absurd" he pnited out.
TBMR Spoke to Smt Amitha prasad m, The director General of ATI Mysore and She clarified that "since it is a regional Workshop and the Government Has provided funds for only 30 Members , it is not possibile for ATI to invite everyone. Yet about 50 to 60 People From across 7 southeren states have participated in the workshop and of them 12 members were from Karnataka . ATI Mysore has also Prepared 8 E-learning Modules and it is already been hosted on its website www.atimysore.gov.in she further added
WE HOPE that There were good and active meaniful delibrations and ATI Mysore will Proactively declare the Funds Budget Expenditure and Details and experience exposure and expertise of the Participants with Thier Sponsers . reccomenendations and why were THEY ONLY WERE INVITED and WHAT IS THE RESULTANT EFFECT OF THIS EXCERSISE
