Many thanks for putting the things in the right perspective. We may recall that Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel were Banias.

With the passage of time people from all casts have become priests/teachers, soldiers, traders and servers.

Spreading hatred will never do good to the country. We have to build the ethics in people and make our institutions work so that everyone knows that wrong-doings will not be tolerated.

Innovation costs money and is necessary for progress. If people don't make money there will be no innovation. Market forces will control pricing.

It is corruption which has to be eliminated because it causes inflation and other aberrations which hurts the aam admi and the nation.

Dear Ravinder, can't you realise that banias keep the wealth withing the country and replough it for the benefit of the masses (though at a price), the political banias (of all creeds and classes) erode the very economic base and stash the money in swiss banks, away from you and me, and let us suffer miserably.
