RE: [IAC#RG] PRESS RELEASE. Death of Delhi's innocent gangrape victim.

Dear Brig,
Have you gone through the list of accused involved? All of them are migrants from just one state where male dominance is far vital than respect for women. And two leaders of the state, viz. Nitish and Lalu aspire to be PM. It just shudders me if one them gets the seat. Comments like "Fast track courts are a farce" and "FIR is merely and opinion" and a "magistrate/judge can be swayed" will soon have radical response from the citizens. Going by the number of youth coming out in such great numbers to share anguish, the people who are protecting such heinous crime shall be put to run if one more such incident takes place. Lets share the grief of the departed girls family members as a nation. Yesterday Sheila had to beat a hasty retreat. Next time such people won't get another chance to save themselves from the common wrath of citizens. These include all hues of politicians besides bureaucracy including the likes of Niraj Kumar the top cop in Delhi who has used Tomar to save his own posterior. Niraj Kumar should have sacked immediately. But Shinde looks away in other direction. Whose interest is Shinde serving? As far as UPA Chairperson is concerned she used a particular word "barberta"! How did a barber came into the whole issue? With the leaders of opposition of all hues, the less said the better. one of the allies of UPA has one leader Lalu aspiring to become PM and one of the leaders of NDA Nitish also aspires to be PM and both hail from the same state from where the six migrant perpetrators of the crime hail. BIHAR. Think of what would happen if either by fluke becomes PM! How long we only debate and do nothing to teach
these people a lesson of their lifetime? Is there no time for real action? By the way I am responding to this post for the first time and rest all discussion has been deleted except that a large number of armed forces have joined the cause of the citizens of this nation. Jai Hind (?) and

Dear General

1. I am in 100% in agreement with your views. I being father of a daughter I am able to feel the pain and the anguish. I would have liked that the culprits be tried and hanged in public.

2. But sir, we are missing on two very important social aspects. No doubt, stringent laws, fast courts, efficient and honest police etc will be big deterrent but with all these we are trying to cut the thorny tree from the top. I consider all these as just one third of the measures. Two thirds of the measures are the social.

3. I am attaching the male to female sex ratio of India, Delhi and states around Delhi. Do you think this is also one of the root causes, for which all of us are responsible.

4. The third cause according to me is the socio economic factor ie labours and blue color workers come to Delhi  from other states. They do not get adequate money to support families. Their families are at home either due to economic reasons or some family related issues. I really do not know how this can be resolved.

5. I believe that we got to tackle this problem from the above mentioned three fronts.

Best Regards

Saty

Very disturbing news! Feel very sad for her and her parents. Braveheart! RIP.

Public anger should be directed to Electoral, Judicial and Police reforms.
  • All MPs and MLAs charged for any crime should be thrown out of Parliament/Assemblies. Political parties should be forbidden to give membership to such people.
  • Police Reforms as approved by the Supreme Court in 2006 should be implemented in letter and spirit by all states.
  • Fast courts to deal with crimes against women.
  • Respect for women in  society should be part of social studies in all schools. No religion or Khap Panchayat should be allowed to pass dictats that violate this spirit.

IAC does not indulge in politics.

This incident has shocked and roused the nation. IAC will pursue it in our own ways once the TV cameras and NGOs have moved onto other issues, and long after all the candles being lit today have flickered out.
