re: [IAC#RG] PRESS RELEASE. Death of Delhi's innocent gangrape victim.

Dear All

The crime against women is not confined to any state or society. It has nothing to do presently with Laluji or Nitishji. The increase in the all kind of atrocities against women are mainly due to collapse of cultural values, self centered societies, commercialisation of each & everything including religion.

Dear Mr. Modi,

I am an ex Army Officer and I belong to Bihar. I am astounded and
equally pained to see your biased opinion about Bihar or Biharis.
Nitish and Lalu do not represent the real Bihar. In fact we have such
leaders as well as criminals accused of heinous crimes like murder and
rape in almost all states in India. In recent history, two MLAs in
Karnataka assembly were caught watching porn in the assembly. Does
that make an average Kannadiga a sex pest? The real problem is about
the mindset of people in our country that has been shaped by deep
rooted prejudice about women. It begins from our own homes and extends
to our behaviour in society. The present generation do not have such
role models that existed half a century back. The role models now are
our so called "leaders" who flaunt their criminal records to get
elected to the public offices. The role models are also people who
gain wealth through corrupt means and their spoilt children get
involved in instances of drinking, gambling and moral turpitude. These
parents condone the behaviour of their children and many feel proud
that their kids are 'manly' and have done nothing wrong. An average
child in the society look up to them with reverence and they become
his heroes. Instead of blaming people of a particular state, please
join the well meaning people who slowly but slowly, are trying to
bring changes in the society, however small those may be. That will be
your real tribute to the country.

Regards,

Capt. Prashant Pandey
