There appears to be no base for your complaint. As per all the Specialists reports I had seen in Newspapers, no one ever doubted the efficacy of Covishield. Everyone says it is safe. If the USA does nor use it, it does not mean it is not effective. Did the US give any reason for the rejection? If so, kindly publish it in your article. In Chennai where I live, all Govt hospitals have given us Covishield. This includes my family and I. As far as I know there is no adverse comment from any beneficiary. We are all safe for the past two months or so - after the second dose. Complaining without adequate research is downright silly. If you have solid proof of its adverse effects or inefficiency in offering protection, please put it in your letter. Otherwise just Shut up. People in power are doing their best to procure  adequate vaccines for this huge big Indian population. Let them do it. People are dying everywhere and everyday. Your comments and baseless mails will only make the matter worse. Finally, what is this nonsense about Bill Gates? Do you expect him to vaccinate the world population free of cost?

Every vaccine is important today irrespective of the source or origin.

Last month alone 1 crore jobs were lost in India. This month will be twice as much. It is vital to revive the economy at any cost and save worker jobs so they can feed families as there is no social security in India for such a kind of catastrophe.

It has come to our knowledge that Prime Minister of India has personally negotiated for the (re)purchase back of about 38 million vials of Indian made COVISHIELD or COVISHIELD type equivalent vaccines, each said vial having 10 doses of 0.5 ml vaccine, from the surplus stock of 62 million vials of COVISHIELD/Astra Zeneca vaccine which is presently lying in United States of America which was rejected for use in that country due to its poor efficacy especially against new variants of concern.

We are further given to understand that Government of India plans to waive customs duties and CVD and cess etc. for import of these rejected COVISHIELD vaccines under the pretext of waving such duties generally for all imported vaccines.
NB: Such waiver actually assists, retains and protects the illegal profits of vaccine speculators and enemy nations who have launched these virii against India.

We are further given to understand that the deal involves an international money rotation scam / fraud which we compute to be atleast about Rs. 25,000 CRORE on the following basis.

1. Payments made for royalty to M/s AstraZeneca on export of vaccine by SII Pune (USD$ 1.37 * 380 million doses) = USD$ 520,6million

2. Differential price between export price ex-SII Pune and reimport price (USD$ 11.83 – USD$3.85 *380 million doses) = USD$ 3,032.4 million

3. Total payments to profiteers and vaccine speculators = 1 +2 above = USD$ 3,553 million

4. Equivalent conversion to Indian rupees (I$ = INR 74) = Rs. 26,292 crores (Rupees Twenty Six thousand Two hundred and Ninety Two crore)

Furthermore, these rejected vaccines are essentially useless against the mutated Indian variants of COVID-19 .

Furthermore these COVISHIELD type vaccines will be purchased from Astra Zeneca, either directly or indirectly, which is essentially owned and controlled by Mr. William Gates III aka Bill Gates, at highly inflated prices. It is very well known in security and intelligence community that Mr. Bill Gates is the mastermind behind the global COVID-19 pandemic and is instrumental in creating and releasing the COVID-19 virii and its mutants which are crippling India for his business profits.

We have also come to know that senior politicians and bureaucrats have been compromised and corrupted to encourage this deal going through considering the very high profit margins involved for essentially selling plain water.

PRAYER:

1. That Government of India immediately ceases and desists from any scheme of importing / reimporting COVISHIELD type vaccines which have been rejected for use in USA

2. That Government of India immediately directs all State Govt and UTs not to purchase or accept any such COVISHIELD type vaccines from abroad.

3. That Government of India ceases and desists from giving any import duty concession to imported vaccines.
