Greetings from "India Against Corruption", Odisha Chapter.
Hope you are fine.
Two days back, we heard from some reliable sources that you are deputing Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to Odisha to address Volunteer's Meeting on Jan Lokpal and Anti-Corruption movement. This news has greatly disturbed and disheartened us. Because, how Arvind's programme was chalked out without knowledge of State Chapter volunteer team. Since last one year, IAC, Odisha Chapter has made several request to you to visit Odisha to address your supporters and sympathizers and fighters who have been ceaselessly working to fight against corruption and organize various programme in response to your call for enactment of strong Jan Lokpal Act in the country. Since April, 2011 IAC, Odisha Chapter has conducted series of campaign events i.e., rally, dharana, hunger strike, demonstration, Candle light rally etc. following the decision of IAC Team and expressing solidarity to your hunger strike and fight against corruption. The volunteers of IAC, Odisha Chapter have long waited you to see you physically and hear from you.
But recent visit of Arvind Kejriwal, your Team Member to Odisha , as planned by IAC Team at national level without intimation to Odisha Chapter has made us frustrated to fight against corruption. We are extremely dismayed to know that Arvind Kejriwal has given responsibility to some unscrupulous fellows, sarkari brokers to organize his programme in Odisha on behalf of India Against Corruption without understanding character of these fellows. We heard that Mr. Kejriwal had given responsibility to one spineless person to organize programme in Bhubaneswar on 12th May.2012. who is very infamous in Odisha for his dilly-dallying role and submissive character to corrupt bureaucracy. He has brought bad taste to our fight against corruption. We have informed to IAC team several times through mail and over telephone to Arvind Kejriwal.
However, if a programme of IAC members is planned to be organized in any state, the volunteers and sympathizers should be properly communicated and the information needs to be widely disseminated. So that there will be massive gathering of the people which will strengthen the movement in the long run. A million dollar question haunts us why Arvind Kejriwal programme is being organized without intimation to IAC, Odisha Chapter. How IAC programme will be organized in a clandestine way. Is it the decision of IAC to organize Arvind Kejriwal's programme in secretive way from security point of view.
It needs to be mentioned here that we are not opposed or averse to any programme of IAC or visit of any member of IAC to Odisha. But IAC, Odisha chapter should not be ignored and bypassed and the members of IAC, Odisha chapter should be behaved a scapegoat or useless loafers. We have self-esteem and the IAC team members should pay respect to the volunteers of IAC, Odisha Chapter. As we have heard several times since last few years,if this programmee will be organized then we will presume succeed way to think that Arvind Kejriwal as shrewd and cunning fellow who is the champion in creating groupism and destroying collective spirit of the movement in different states. And his presence in Odisha will no doubt bring I irreparable loss to anti corruption movement in our state .
At last, We request you to intervene in the matter. We may be pleased to suggest you to visit Odisha which has remained a long due. Your presence will imbibe and instill courage and conviction among volunteers of IAC, Odisha Chapter to fight against corruption. I may also request you that if any member of IAC team makes visit to Odisha, proper coordination for chalking out the programme should be established between IAC team and IAC, Odisha Chapter, not a single individual of the state. Any programme of IAC Team in Odisha in association with a coterie of so-called and self-claimed activists without knowledge of firebrand and committed volunteers of IAC, Odisha Chapter will dishearten the anti-corruption crusaders and destroy anti-corruption movement in the state. IAC Team may not help strengthen our fight against corruption in our state but should not try to destroy and dismantle it.
