Save People's Park Campaign in People's Park, Mysore City on Sunday, June 24, 2012 / 24-June-2012 / 24-06-2012 at 10:00 AM

The District-In-Charge Minister and Minister of Medical Education S.A. Ramdas is determined to construct a four laned highway/expressway and a Ropeway to the Chamundi Hills and to shift the existing KSRTC Sub-Urban/Rural Bus Stand to the JK Grounds which legally belongs to the Mysore Medical College (MMC).

The MMC could/may face problems (of de-recognition) from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or Indian Medical Council (IMC) if the playground is converted into a KSRTC Sub-Urban/Rural bus stand.

The MCC has constructed a mall (commercial complex) for Reliance Fresh at the KSRTC Sub-Urban/Rural Bus Stand by misusing 30 crore(s) of JNNURM funds despite objections/protests from some NGOs.

About two days ago there was a news report in a local daily stating that this District-In-Charge Minister wanted the DPR (Detailed Project Report) w.r.t. the shifting of the bus stand to the JK Grounds within 03 days.

Thanks to the JNNURM funds the politicians and the officials / bureaucrats of the district / state / central administration seem determined to execute all the unwanted projects come what may as they seem/are no longer scared of the RTI, Sakala, Judiciary, Lokayukta/Upalokayukta and Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).

All the petitions that have been already created at the http://www.thepetitionsite.com/ continue to face some technical problem or the other for about 06 consecutive/successive months in a calendar year w.e.f. 2009 because of which none of the petitions on the http://www.thepetitionsite.com/  can be updated/modified/edited and new ones can't be created. Unfortunately the problem continues for several months even if the site's been informed about this problem at the earliest.
