MS. JASPAL KAUR HON'BLE SENIOR MOST STATE INFORMATION COMMISSIONER CREATES A HISTORY OF SORTS BY PASSING AN UNIQUE ORDER IN THE THIN AIR

 

Hon'ble Sir,

 

I would like to invite your kind attention towards the order of Ms. Jaspal Kaur Hon'ble Senior Most State Information Commissioner of State Information Commission Punjab (of course not senior enough to the Chief information Commissioner Punjab) has passed and posted online a unique Order on 16 July 2012, which is online for almost over 80 days without any rectification:

 

  1. This Order does not have a name and address of Appellant/Complainant.
  2. This Order does not have name and address of the Respondent.
  3. This Order does not have The Case Number
  4. This Order does not have the Name of the Appellant/Complainant present during the hearing
  5. This Order does not have the Name of the Respondents present during the hearing.
  6. This order does not have the dates in the body text of the order.
  7. This order says in para prior to para 3 that "The complainant is not present today in the court. He had due and adequate notice of hearing to be held today through registered post on   but he has chosen not to appear himself or through representative nor has he sent any communication, it is presumed that he has received full information and he is satisfied with the same."
  8. Yet in Para 3, order says that : 3. Therefore, one more opportunity is granted to the PIO to supply the information to the Appellant.
  9. Two Lines of Para 4 of the order creates  a history of sorts. Commissioner Order closes and Disposes of the case, yet it is adjourned to 10.09.2012.

Strange things are happening at the Commission. Congratulations for creating a history of sorts BY Senior most State Information Commissioner of Punjab. Please keep this spirit up.
