Apparently our local IAC unit people were offered large sums of money to publicly support Anna Hazare's statement in favour of Naveen Patnaik's mineral sale and land lease policies at a meeting on 30th.November. There are 2 groups pro-and anti land policy at the meeting. Shri Hazare has been staying as Mr. Patnaik's State Guest for past 3 days and is driving around in red-light motor cavalcades. Again exactly what IPS officer Y.P.Singh had accused him of.
We are sending a fact finding team from Kolkatta immediately to assess the situation.
