To: Dr. E.K. Singh
A short response to your mail, since I am very busy in work.
You may recall we met briefly about 5 or 6 years back. If I am not confusing you with someone else, I recall you to be a mediocre Scheduled Tribe category General Practice doctor from Meghalaya who practices less of medicine and more of BJP/Rotary/CIA politics by socialising, boozing and womanising. You also claimed to have your MD in Ortho. Your "constructive criticism" of my work does not affect me in the least because I know who you are and what you represent.
Let us now come to the FACTS as you wanted
1. The FACT is that on 10.April.2020 BJP IT spokesperson Amit Malviya tweeted that ICMR had conducted a study with finding that had lockdown not been implemented there would have been 8.2 lakh cases in India on 15 April 2020. When the ICMR denied having made any such study. It created a big storm on Twitter and Mr. Malviya was badly trolled. On 10th April 2020 Jt Secy. Lav Agarwal of the Health Ministry also denied any such study in his daily press briefing and Mr. Malviya was left with egg on his face. On 11th April at the press briefing Sh. Lov Agarwal was forced to make a statement that there was some informal assessment done within the Health Ministry (actually there was no such assessment and Mr. Agarwal, a Mechanical Engineer from IIT Delhi himself hastily concocted the numbers and growth rates using simple exponential formulae in an Excel Worksheet from "extrapolation of data from other geographies ") simply to save Mr. Malviya on direct instructions to him from PM personally on 11th April 2020
These above FACTS are in public domain, for instance at
2. The FACT is that there is hardly any testing in India. Had you bothered to read the table I attached you would have seen it for yourself. But knowing your reserved category background, and thus your medical ability to interpret data presentation, I treat you instead as a apologist for ruling party. The rapid tests hastily imported from China are well known throughout the merit based medical community as being sub-standard, over-priced with an exceptional high FALSE NEGATIVE rate.It is these sub-standard Chinese testing kits coupled with poor VIRAL TRANSPORT KITS designed for colder climates which are mainly responsible for India's LUDICROUSLY low CORONA detections which whole world is laughing at. Also thousands of patients with symptoms are not being tested and given PCR tests based on these false negative readings. It seems there is a malafide conspiracy of BJP to cause spread of Corona Virus through these faulty Chinese tests in those cities where opposition is in power, like Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi which account for 50% of the reported cases, which today are at about 11,200. Yesterday there was a tremendous SPIKE of 1375 cases because doctors in Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi are no longer trusting rapid tests and going for PCR tests which SC has made free. Of course the bigger problem is that infected patients are being discharged back into the population based on the faulty tests.
