"7.Public Servant taking gratification other than legal remuneration in respect of an official act.- Whoever, being , or expecting to be a public servant accepts or obtains or agrees, to accept or attempts to obtain from any person , for himself or for any other person, any gratification whatever, other than legal remuneration as a motive or reward for doing or forbearing to do any official act or for showing or forbearing to show, in the exercise of his official functions, favour or disfavour to any person or for rendering or attempting to render any service or dis-service to any person , with the Central Government or any State Government or Parliament or the Legislature of any State or with any local authority, corporation or Government Company referred to in clause (c) of Section-2 , or with any public servant, whether named or otherwise, shall be punishable with imprisonment which shall be not less than 6 months but which may extend to 5 years and shall also be liable to fine."

I dont have any proof of wrong doing by IC in below matter and i am sure whether such matter where my case is not being heard can be investigated by vigilance team or not

Please advise if there has been some precedence of this kind. and does they work

You must file an email vigilance complaint (u/s 12 &/or 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act) against Mr Shailesh Gandhi to the CVO of DoPT (Jt.Sec(Vig)) with a copy to Ms Alka Sirohi (Secy/DoPT) for information.

The matter posted for hearing on 30th Sept, 2010 and on the date of hearing IC - Mr SG adjourned the case without any specific reasons.

From Sept 2010 till March 2011, no movement on my case was noticed. On 25th March i complained to CIC Shri SM and requested for transfer of case to larger bench.

I submitted copy of my mail and complaint letter about non hearing of case to CIC Shri SM but i had not received any communication from CIC.

On inquiring about this matter through website of CIC, it now shows that my matter again has been given to Mr SG .... i am unable to understand the reason of non action on my matter by SG since sept 2010 and why Shri SM has again sent my case to Mr SG when he(SG) himself is not deciding the same case since sept 10.

Please advise what can i do in below case so that my matter is taken for hearing on immd basis...
