While I agree that there are a few, rarest of rare, amoung public servants who do their duty conscientiously, the majority are selfish, corrupt and can even be clubbed as traitors at the level of senior bureaucrats, politicians and judges for the way they keep passing the parcel and fail, miserably, willfully and treacherously, to perform their duties! And I challenge you to prove me otherwise! Thanks to the RTI Act and the way it has been subverted it is now on record that the government is the biggest anti-people organisation in the country! Have you read the RTI Act and can you tell me if it has excluded the office of the CJI from its purview? Tell me under which law can the CJI as competent authority to enforce this law in courts exclude his own office from its purview? Tell me did the SC do justice in Gen V K Singh's dob case? Why, tell me why these blatant subversion of law and justice?
And Mr Sant Mathur, tell me what all are your contributions during your official life that continues to influence today's police in your state before I buy your claim 'We have researched the entirre spectrum of anti-corruption work and contributed enormously at policy/administration/operation levels'. I dare say that it is only the cyber space that has contributed to the spread of truth and public reactions are just a fall out of this general awakening! I will get back to RTI Act itself to prove how much of a fallacy is being spread as it being a landmark law for transparency! The job of an information commissioner is simpler than that of a munsif but it has been equated to that of of CEC, EC, Chief Secretary etc only to provide sinecures for the most useless, if not anti-people, clerks (and that includes the IAS and IPS lot too) who would willfully subvert the law to protect their criminal colleagues and political bosses.
The police and judiciary are the only organisations that constitute the institutionalised system for justice delivery in this country and they are notorious as the most corrupt too. While wisdom handed over from generations to generations expressed this fact through beliefs that it is a blessing to pass through this life without entering a police station or a court today we have organisations like Transparency International that have put forth data after extensive surveys! And even a cursory look around is sufficient to convince one that unless these organisations are overhauled totally nothing can change for the masses!

Pl don't challenge the people of India as what have they done. The number is millions who are more intelligent, more qualified, morr sincere, and have contributed immensely more than all AAP(believers of KHAP,believers of partition of India again opn the Q of K)people have done in some total. Just because people don't dramatise things, just because they don't tom tom their accomplishments,it doesn't mean such peopl don't exist. Even on the hyped anti-corrution front we who practised/professed(professionally and silently) in this area for decades have contributed far more than the work done by agitationists. We have researched the entirre spectrum of anti-corruption work and contributed enormously at policy/administration/operation levels. I take challenge frtom any and every quarter and am ready to prove the total hollowness of the claims of the agitationists. S P Mathjur IPS DGP(retd) BE MBA PhD
