a probe is done how most of them could get these weapons allotted in
their names. While serving at Delhi 35 years back I knew a case of an
officer getting more than one pistol allotted. Generally Officers with
no approach to W&E Directorate cannot ever dream of getting a weapon
In case they get it will be those weapons one won't be able to possess
after retirement which of course will not have any market demand. I
was part of the Forces that captured huge amount of weapons from
Bengladesh during 1971 War. Despite best of repeated efforts even I
could not get a weapon. When pested them with facts and figures, all I
could get was a Sword on payment which i still possess.
