The reason is not the uninterested people are leaving the group. The rason seems to be more relating to the managing the group. I think the serious persons are leaving the group. The arrogance of the moderators is one of the main reason. I have seen many serious people leave owing to only this reason. Can't we maintain a decency in replying and sovling the issues and also in posting. You can say your view in a more harmonic ways.
I have seen on other such portals that moderators seldom post. Moderators mostly act through Private messeging. They just watch and intervene in the posts/threads only whenever it is most necessary. But here I see that Moderators take all sort of objections and in a most courteousness manner as if they are dictators.
I think to build a community you have to take the community along and go by the wishes of the community. If not you will be left all alone in the end.
Good Luck

Dear Surendra
The moderators of this group wish to give every opportunity to people who are dissatisfied to leave. This is part of the ablative process whereby only serious people will be on this group. This exercise is also part of parallel exercises where all bouncing email IDs are pruned out etc to ensure that posts to this group reaches the maximum number of receptive participants. As experienced moderators we do not gauge the participation / depth of this group by the chatterati class postings to the list. One catches the movement of a tiger by the chattering of birds and baboons when he moves..
We are always pondering on it :-)

Why so many people want to quite?
Have you ever ponder upon it?--On Thu, Feb 17, 2011 at 12:02 AM, sroy1947 <sroy1947@gmail.com> wrote:
Dear CoMod and other members;
There is obviously something wrong with Google, because about
6 people have sent emails with "REMOVE ME" as subject and
which have come to the moderation queque.
So just keep the "REMOVE ME" emails flowing, and the
moderators will assist all the unwilling people off this group.
