Dear all,
I feel AAP is there to stay, why...:-
> Vacuum created by the demise of INC. Our country is truly diversified , where voters have been aligned on party lines for decades.Notwithstanding caste , religious & some undesirable inducements as the considerations, which have generally been the basis of such party alignments; a core group of voters have developed party loyalties. With the gradual loss of faith in its leadership at local, mid and national , et all levels; the committed voters of INC are afloat. The left as a group, but for its trade unions' members, has lost much of relevance with the voters. BJP still remains , for right or wrong reasons, unacceptable to many voters. The regional parties enjoy caste, regional or linguistic loyalties. Under such a voter options scenario, AAP has offered a refreshingly cleaner platform with hope for the urban middle class, lower middle & the urban toiling masses to make their lives more bearable. It may be recalled how Indira's Garibi Hatao bogey got her in power with the votes of this very lot & some floater groups . In other words AAP may be the manifestation of CONGRESS mukt BHARAT future !!
>Youthful Population. The 60 percent under 35 yrs population is definitely more enthused with the leadership & pronouncements of AAP than other parties. If properly utilised , this voter segment may form the mainstay of AAP for a decade or more.
>New Faces & Growing Outfit .It is a great motivating factor for fresh entrants to see new faces rise rapidly the ladder of success. This is an asset till lack of experience of administration or mis management grounds the momentum , in favour of more experienced hands.
>A National Alternative good for our Democracy. From multi party coalition national scenario , coming to 'a no opposition party/ leader' situation may not be good for democracy. AAP has the potential to take the bow , provided the arrogance & the corrupt practices ; that have endemically got associated with political success( ala INC,AIADMK, DMK,BSP, SP,TMC, Akalis, BJP etc ....) are avoided.
