[IAC#RG] COMPLAINT : Why new RBI notes imply Hindi speakers are dirty people ?

To:
The Governor RBI

By email

Sub: Your recent Rs. 500 and Rs.2,000 denomination notes,

Sir,

Membership of HINDU SAMAJ of INDIA are highly aggrieved the slogans with Gandhi spectacles on the subject notes is exclusively in a language which 58% of India's population cannot read and is targeting Hindustanis as a dirty race.

Is it because the present government perceives the Hindi speaking population of Hindustan, mainly concentrated in North India BIMARU states, as dirty-fiilthy unwashed people who need to be purified. It is not clear to us why the same slogan is not circulated in Dravid languages like Kannad, "Madrasi", Malayalam, English etc. used by the non-Hindu non-Hindustani races of India in non-Devanagari script.

HINDU SAMAJ  of INDIA protests such tacit racism on part of Mr. Modi's Finance Ministry in its note design and takes it as a gross insult to Hindustani people of India inhabiting the Gangetic belt who have the privilege of reading Hindi.

We demand for public apology by whoever is responsible for insulting Hindustanis by medium of these currency notes irrespective if he is the Governor of RBI or the Finance Minister of India.

We also demand that all these racist currency notes be immediately replaced and citizens should not be compelled to accept them in replacement

sincerely

Sarbajit Roy
