For the stated objective “humanity, truthfulness and just social order”, Congratulations, and wish you all the Best. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan was second only to Mahatma Gandhi and was known as Frontier Gandhi. Country’s Partition was a great shock to him; he felt ‘betrayed’ by the concerned ‘great men’. The greatest scourge of Indian Society today is distrust amongst almost all the sections of “We the People”,  promoted  and nurtured by Political Leadership for capturing and retaining power. The curse of Partition continues even to day, and the greatest beneficiary, Pakistan, continues to play Communal card. Only a couple of days back Hafiz Sayeed, chief of Jamaat-u-dawa Pakistan called for a nuclear war against India by Jihad over Kashmir. Why? Because Kashmir is a Muslim-majority State. Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan fought against the Muslim League creed of hatred against Hindus which prevented integration of Muslims with Hindus. Today, Hindu population in Pakistanis has been reduced to only 45 lakhs while Muslim population in India is growing fast.

 

My purpose of writing this to you is to point out that these features are inconsistent with the objectives of Khudai Khidmatgars of Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan or with your stated objectives. Holy Quran allows freedom of religion to everyone, says: “To me, my religion; to you, your religion”. He who professes a religion but does not practice it, is Kafir. Hence if I, Hindu, profess Sanatan Dharma, but do to practice it, I am Kafir to Hinduism. If a Muslim professes Islam, but does not practice Islam, he is Kafir to Islam. Purification of self in the situation  of Kufr may be done through Jihad; what is known as ‘self-purification Jihad’ in Islam is Prayashchit in Hinduism. If this be the true state (as I understand it to be), then there is no place for Jihad over Kashmir, much less against India. If the revival of Khudai Khidmatgars is in this spirit, do go ahead and promote National Integration; if not, then your NGO will only add one more unit to fissiparous elements shrouding the Nation.
