Recently we saw an unprecedented public agitation led by Team Anna Hazare in favour of the Jan Lokpal Bill. The motto is to eradicate cancerous corruption from India. We as tax payers and tax practitioners are worst hit by corruption. In order to educate the masses about the possible remedies against corruption through (Jan) Lokpal bill and otherwise a public meeting is organised as mentioned above. The speakers will also highlight the role and responsibilities of civil society in a democratic setup. We intellectuals shoulder larger responsibility of freeing India from this menace of corruption. Therefore, we appeal to all of you to come in large numbers and express your solidarity to this crusade against corruption.
