To:
Shri Raj Kumar Kardam
Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety(Northern Circle).
CRIS COMPLEX, CHANAKYAPURI, NEW DELHI.
Sir
PUBLIC GRIEVANCE:
I am constrained to observe that I have not had the basic courtesy of
a reply / acknowledgment to my Public Grievance of 11/09/2013
addressed to you by name.
You are presumably very well aware of the technical planning for
railway stations and the basic amenities required to be provided to
railway passengers throughout India, including on the Metro Railways.
To refresh your memory I am providing a relevant link to the Railway
Board website.
http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/railwayboard/uploads/codesmanual/IRWM/worksmanualCh4_data.htm
and direct your attention to para 414 therein concerning providing
potable drinking water for railway passengers which is being openly
flouted by DMRC.
Please note that I have reason to suspect that the juvenile pickpocket
"Pappu Kumar" apprehended and in charge of Delhi Police who was denied
drinking water at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station has gone missing after he
was in custody of Delhi Police and taken to Rajouri Garden Metro
Police Station for interrogation, and his life / safety was endangered
by lack of drinking water / fountains within DMRC network without
which essential passenger amenities the delhi metro railway operations
could never have commenced.
Kindly note that I expect to receive your acknowledgment to my
email(s) within 72 hours clearly spelling out by when my grievance
(issued in larger public interest) shall be resolved.
With best wishes
