Re: [HumJanenge] Corrupt Rich India versus Poor Real India

Dear Mr Goyal

(BTW, wasn't this message posted to the group earlier ???)

FYI, when advocates represent the Govt (Ministries) in SC / HC they are on a "rate contract" - and they fight like cats and dogs to get Govt business, they are paid about Rs. 6,000 per appearance which includes 1 pre-hearing briefing session. They all dutifully submit their bills (and get paid after 90 days by cheque).

When some private person goes to them by mistake, they demand payment in cash - no  receipts or bills given (when they are caught they claim that all these off the book payments are recorded in their income tax returns - which cannot be disclosed in RTI because it is personal information not having any public interest u/s 8.1.j)

Dear Shri Diwan Singh Ji,

Thanks for your message. I am a civil servant retired about more than 16 Years ago from Central Govt. Service. You may be right to say Mr. Prashant  Bhushan
does take cases of the poor. But so far my experience goes, I wanted to meet him for giving a case against the Registrar of Cooperative Societies, NCT of Delhi
since RCS has delegated his powers to a builder in the show cases issued by One Mr. Satya Gopal former RCS against five persons who own immovable property
against in posh colonies of South Delhi. Mr. Satya Gopal's successor, in hearings asked for files from the President of the Society (the builder) but he refused to submit
them After finding the truth of wrong aned false affidavits of these five persons, he allowed them to keep the membership and Society flats on the basis of non-speaking
orders.   Mentioning according to the President of the Society the complaint about false and wrong affidavits is wrong, so I allow them to keep the Society flats with
them.

This case I wanted to give to Mr. Prashant Bhushan. But he told me on phone that before taking up any case, for giving opinion only, his charges are Rs. Thirty
Three Thousand  and feed for drafting, whole case fee and per appearance fee would be separate and does not include Rs. 33,000/- I was told that case fee is about
Rs. 1.50 Lakh. Per appearance is from Rs. 21,000/- to 51,000/-.  If he is a changed person and fightinh against corruption, then I can contact him again. This is a case
of rampant corruption in the office of RCS, NCT of Delhi.

Once again thanks for sparing time for reply.
