[rti_india] Re: WARNING: Fake RTI India scam website

Dear Raja

Acting on your suggestion I delved further into this matter.

This email leads to a website "rti-act DOT com". It is (deceptively)
similar to "rtiindia DOT org" run by Dr Kushal Pathak of the Indian Postal Service. Dr Pathak in his spare time (and sometimes from computer resources owned by the State) runs a network of websites dedicated to generating "pay per click" advertising revenues from
financiers like "google adwords" etc. in addition to offering software consultancy etc. The more people "contribute" to Mr Pathak's forum the more foreign exchange Dr Pathak earns for India (and himself). In this noble enterprise, Dr Pathak is assisted by some members of this group - all of whom enjoy uncensored posting privileges to contradict me publicly.

Now, it seems that revenues from Google pay per click have dropped considerably due to global recession and intense competition for Google's funds (after Mr Shekhar Singh walks off with his crore of Google's rupees there is not much to go around for the rest). So the Pay-per-click scamsters are searching for other PPC advetisers. The new RTI website is one such forum. Remember the more you post on those forums - the more the parasite webmaster sucks his money.
