Respected Sir
Kindly accept my hearty congratulations for being elevated to your current position.
I am confident that the institution of the Central Information Commission and its autonomy will be secured under your management.
I would like to trouble you with a small matter that is causing some concern on an internet RTI forum I am a member of. It pertains to this decision of IC Annapurna Dixit http://rti.india.gov.in/cic_decisions/AD-19032010-07.pdf in File number CIC/AD/C/2009/000998 dt.21.March.2010 in matter of one Lt.Col.Baljit Singh.
Some citizens find it curious that the report of the inquiry conducted by the Registry of IC Ms. Dixit has not been published on the website of the Hon'ble Commission as is the regular practice. This is causing some members of the public at large to believe that there may be some truth to messages circulating that Ms. Dixit and/or her Registry is under investigation for the enquiry which whitewashed all the persons Col Baljit Singh complained about to the Hon'ble Commission.
I would therefore request you to kindly see if it is possible to publish the enquiry report I have referred to, so as to reassure the public that the matter is finally concluded and disposed of.
Yours faithfully
Sarbajit Roy
